I purchased e.l.f about 12 days ago, and they just arrived today. I'm so excited. I literally couldn't stop smiling when I found the box in my mailbox. I hurried back to my apartment and opened it.

So these are what I bought:
Daily brush cleanser
Eye shadow brush
Zit Zapper
Lipstick - Captivating
Lipstick - Classy
Hypershine Gloss Sugar Plum
Eyelid primer - Sheer
e.l.f Mineral Booster - sheer

I also got the 24K eyeshadow collection for free!

left: Captivating
right: Classy
Look at those pretty glares! Beautiful!
I love the shapes of new untouched lipsticks.
They are only $1 each!

These are the swatches. The 'Classy' is the total dupe for MAC Lipstick in shade Angel.

The idea of the Zit Zapper is to, and I'm quoting here, "Zap zits away with
the unique blend of Salicylic Acid, Tea Tree, Witch Hael, and Camphor. This special
formula helps you to fight and prevent acne, reduce swelling, minimize pore size, and clear skin."
It's $1, so I figured it's worth a try.

It preps your eyelid for smoother, longer-lasting, crease-proof eyeshadow. It's supposed to be comparable with the famous Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion.

I personally don't like the packaging. It just looks cheap. I prefer the makeup clutch palette

Thanks for reading. Have a great day! =)

Lake Toba, North Sumatra

Last summer I got a chance to go to Lake Toba with my family. I was so excited to see our own natural beauty. Throughout my trip I kept comparing what I saw there with what I've been seeing in California, and then I realized that it's not really a proper thing to do. It was pretty amazing despite my sucky tour and hotel.

Golden Temple

Sipiso-piso Waterfall

A place where people pound rice. The long poles are actually pretty heavy!

Inside the King's house - Sibolon House

On our way to Samosir Island which is in the middle of Lake Toba

My Lake Toba article got published on GoGirl! Magazine =)
