Eatinerary Getaway: Napa

Hi everyone! It feels like forever since I last posted. I've been cozying up in a bundle. The weather's getting colder and I'm watching "I Don't Know How She Does It" on Netflix as we speak. Several weeks ago, I visited Napa for a quick getaway. My workplace seems like really quiet nowadays that several people are taking a vacation. I can't wait for my vacation in December. I'm going back to my hometown. Finally!

Anyway back to Napa. I had great food while I was there. I visited Oxbow Public Market that's filled with authentic food! If you follow me on Instagram, you probably have seen these before.

They're really tasty!

Ahi Poke Crispy Tacos from Gott's Roadside, Napa
Wisconsin Sourdough from Gott's Roadside, Napa

Fresh oysters from Hog Island Oyster Bar
Oyster Po' Boy - beer-battered oysters!
I visited Castello di Amorosa, a beautiful winery with castle. There was an entrance fee for $20 if I'm not mistaken but I decided just to enjoy the view from the outside (okay, I was just being cheap).

For dinner, I went to Applewood Inn Restaurant in Guerneville. This restaurant was a michelin-star restaurant for 2011 and 2012. I gotta say the food was pretty darn delicious. I'm not really into fine dining experience, but I do enjoy the food.

Pan-seared diver scallop with uni over yukon potatoes and saffron butter

Cocoa Nib Crusted Rack of Lamb

Chocolate mocha mousse with hazelnut praline

Quick visit to the Snoopy Museum in Santa Rosa
