Hello everyone! I want to share with you what I got from Sephora for the 20% discount I got as VIB. If you don't know by know, Sephora has 20% discount for its members every year usually around this time of year. Every purchase is 20% off, online and in-store but you have to sign up as a VIB to get this perks. I didn't spend a lot on this year's sale just because I've already purchased things I wanted beforehand which I now I'm kinda regretting for not being patient.
Anyway, here are what I got.
I immediately thought of my sister when I saw this. She's a nail-polish person, and she'd go crazy if she saw this. Although the steep price tag, with my 20% off plus $5 for $10 that I got from groupon a while back it seems like a good deal for 22 great quality mini nail polishes. Even though the are smaller than the regular size, you still get a lot of product. Formula X has the best glitter nail polishes. Their formula is thick and applied easily and not at all streaky. My favorite shade out of the bunch is Thrilling which is a nude greyish/creamy color.
It's never too early to start taking care of your eye area, which is the most delicate area on your face. Aging starts from the eyes, at least in my opinion. It's not that I'm aging or anything, but it's good to invest in a good eye cream as early as possible. I've heard great things about it, and I've used it for several days now and I'm liking it so far. The product is on the thicker side, but not at all heavy. It feels cool and moisturizing on the skin. It also has a bit of a glow to it which can also act as a brightening for your under-eye area.
Tip: Store eye cream in the fridge and you will feel cooling sensation which is good to depuff and refresh your eye area in the morning.
I've used it all day today, and the lipstick seems to stay put. The lipstick does have shine to it and one layer of application seems sheer but it is buildable. The shade fig is a rosy nude color, which is the kind of shade that you don't need mirror to apply. It's a really pretty color.
For my 100pts, I got Clinique chubby stick moisturizing lip colour balm. I haven't worn it yet, so I can't really tell you anything other than the color looks tomato red, which I'm not sure how it will look like again my skin. I'll keep you updated.

I also got a couple of skincare products for my mom.
Dior Capture Totale One essential skincare
This products is supposed to be "age-defying" and eliminates toxin, corrects visible sign of aging, and helps skin regains its vitality. I've never tried it, but I know my mom has and she really likes it.
Shiseido Translucent Loose Powder
This is is a very finely milled powder and super smooth. I've never tried it before, so I can't give you any opinion. My mom says that loose powder is better for skin rather than compact powder which sometimes can look cakey and harsh on the skin.
❤❤❤
That lipstick is really pretty! I've wanted to try Bite lipsticks for a while now, but the price tag stops me every time. Do you think they're worth it?
ReplyDeleteI know what you feel, that's why I waited for the sale although it was still expensive. For me, the lipstick doesn't feather and it stays on through out the day. I haven't tried bolder shades, but this particular shade I bought does a good job in staying put. But if you're looking for slightly less expensive, also on the high-end side,
DeleteI recommend em cosmetics lipstick. I just got the matte lipstick in wine stain two weeks ago and I really like it!
