Spring Favorites

It's officially spring for me! Yay!
I'm done with finals, and I'm going away for the weekend for my spring break =)

Have a bunch of favorites for this spring, it's so hard to pick just a few. I don't know why I'm so excited about Spring. There's something romantic about Spring.
I can't really explain it, but it feels that way.
The flowers are blooming, the colors are popping. It's such an exciting time!

Unpredictable weather makes my skin so dry. I love this facial cream from Benefit. So moisturizing and keep all the dryness away.

I love this baked foundation to even out my skin tone.
It does balances and brightens your skin tone.
Making your skin look more flawless, and it also gives you more coverage.

I know the Naked 2 Palette has been out for quite a while now, but I like my old naked palette.
It's a gift for my dear one first of all, and I just am loving the colors it gives me.
You can't go wrong with neutral look. Pair this with bold bright lipstick! It's so in right now. (click here watch Michelle Phan's video  for more on the bright lips)
Urban Decay Naked Palette

Chapped lips are not hot. I'm loving the MAC Tendertone. It's moisturizing for your lips, and it has subtle gloss like a lip gloss

Nude lips are so hot!

High quality makeup brushes do not have to be high-end and expensive.
I love ecotools brushes, especially the bronzer brush. It's so dense and soft!

I Have a Dream

I just digged through my old files, and wow! It was just treasure of memories. Mostly good ones. It's one of the perks of being a keeper like me. You get to look back and remember things. Sometimes things that you don't wish to remember, but they're just part of your past. You can't delete it unless you get amnesia or something like what happened in the movie, The Vow (Has anybody seen it yet? I love the movie, hate the ending).

Anyway, I now remember again how I love to write. I've always thought that I only think I love to write but in practice I don't really do it as much. But seeing my writings and what people have been saying to me, I knew. I do love writing, and it's a shame I did not pursue it longer. I used to keep my writings to myself, telling people (and myself) that I only write for personal pleasure. But is it? My so-called articles got published 4 times already in a local magazine, but that was not enough for me because it wasn't really quality writing. It was just me summarizing what places to go to.

I do have fear that people won't like what I write/ yet in a way I embrace everything that I have ever written. Most importantly, I embrace who I am and I wish someday I could fulfill my true passion. It is important for me that people recognize my work, but it is more important for me that I pursue that and not just let it hanging on the backdoor of my mind.

So dream big and pursue it! Dreaming along won't do any good to you. Do something. That's what matters!

Do you fear something about the past?

Regardless of what it was, let go of it, and step confidently into the future that God has planned for you.
But wait !

Are you afraid of the future?

The fear of the future is a waste of the present. Do not fear tomorrow.

God is already there.

tokidoki Kabuki Brush

My recent trip to Sephora I got my self this very cute tokidoki Kabuki Brush. It's soft and very good quality. You can just feel the difference when you touch the bristle. It's perfect for buffing and blending your makeup or just to apply powder products.  I fell in love with the brush when I first saw it on AndreasChoice's video. It's just so unique with all the cute drawings and square handle.

I'm obsessed with this brush. I was literally so excited when I finally got it in my hands. =P

What do you think? What's your favorite brush?

Wen Hair Care Products

I got a promo email of Wen. I first knew about Wen from the January glam bag. I've heard people raving about how good the cleansing conditioner is and how it's natural and won't damage your hair with chemical and stuff. Plus it's good for the environment too! It's always a plus for a product to be environment friendly. I was intrigued as I've been having major split ends for quite a while now.

The offer was basically to keep purchasing every 90 days with discounted price. I decided to give it a shot. I can always cancel whenever by calling the customer service. You can't do it online, which is really clever because when you call to cancel the customer service person will try to talk you out of it by giving you more offer and deal and stuff like that. Self determination is the key!! =P

I haven't used the products at all except for the cleansing conditioner, but I thought I just give you guys a heads-up of what seems like gonna be an "it" product.

I placed the order about 4 days ago and I already got it today. The first month's products contain:

  • Cleansing conditioner
  • Texture Balm
  • Styling Creme
  • Re Moist Intensive Hair Treatment
  • Wide-Tooth Comb
I've tried the cleansing conditioner just now. The idea is to wash your hair with conditioner as opposed to shampoo, hence the name "cleansing conditioner." I like how my hair feels after I washed it with this product. I feel clean and nourished. I know there's no product that  can really give you instant result, but at least it can make you feel that it does.

Texture Balm
It is "the ideal finishing touch for creating looks with separation and texture".

Re Moist Intensive Hair Treatment
It's supposed to "add moisture, strength and shine to even the most damaged hair". I'm really hoping it can make my damaged hair healthy again. So crossing my fingers here. I'll let you guys know once I've used it for a while.

Styling Creme
"This creamy, soft-hold, styling formula promotes moisture, enhances shine and boosts body".

If you are interested in trying them out, you can purchase it here.

Thanks for reading! Have a great day everyone!
