5 Makeup Product I Enjoy Lately | TooFaced Foundation, Affordable Foundation brush, and more!

Hi everyone! I have tried new makeup this month, and I have videos lined up for you on my channel www.youtube.com/heyamadea. I have been trying to post new video at least once a week. My schedule is to post every Friday. I truly appreciate if you'd check it out and subscribe =).

Moving on to makeup I enjoy lately. I love TooFaced Born This Way foundation. I have a video coming up this Friday all about it, so stay tuned! I got the shade Light Beige, and it's pretty spot on with my skin tone. It feels and looks natural on the skin, and it holds up pretty well during heat and sweat. The foundation really makes me feel like I was "born this way". I got a medium coverage with only one layer of application. I still need to put on concealer if I want to have a really perfect flawless skin, but I don't usually go for that.

I also fell in love with Sephora Rouge Infusion lip stain. I have the shade peony. It's a really pretty natural pink color which would look great on any skin tone. I fell in love at first application. It feels buttery and smooth on the lips. It is very opaque, so I don't need to put on a lot of the product on my lips. I am eager to try on more shades.

Thanks to Emily from Beauty Broadcast, I've found a very affordable foundation brush from Target. It's the complexion brush from the Up&Up brand. It's very soft and dense, but not too dense which makes blending foundation easy. The bristle doesn't shade, and it only costs $6.99! It is comparable to the kabuki brushes from Sigma.

I'm pretty late in the hype with Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector. I got the shade moonstone, and it's just very unique. It is sooo different than liquid highlighters I got from the drugstore. It stands out and it really makes my face look glowy and dewy. It stays put and it reflects light like nobody's business! I am so in love with this!

I also rediscovered an old favorite. It's Mary-Lou Manizer from theBalm. It's my holy grail of highlighter. It is not subtle, which I really like from a highlighter. I also like subtle highlighters, depending on my mood, but in general I find myself reaching out for this again and again. It's just such a great highlighter, and I think every makeup enthusiast should have one in their collection.

Thank you guys for reading! I have videos featuring some of these favorites coming up in the next several weeks. So stay tuned!

Best Makeup Removers | Makeup Wipes, Cleasing oil, Micellar Water

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's weekend. I've been MIA, and will still be for a little while due to work. I will try to blog as much as I could, though. We didn't really do anything last Saturday. We just had dinner at a sushi place nearby, and went to a dessert place to hang out with some friends. Low key and relaxing Valentine's day =).

Removing makeup at the end of the day is very crucial to me. I always force myself to wash my face no matter how tired I am that day and how eager I am to go to bed. I make sure that I never go to bed with my makeup on. My face is sensitive just as is, and I don't want to "enrage" the skin even more by going to bed with my foundation on.

I find the more products I've tried, the more I realize how much I love Target's homebrand Up & Up makeup wipes. I find one wipe is enough to remove most of my makeup. It's affordable, and it really does the job. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin which some of makeup wipes do. I don't stop there. I use Body Shop cleasing oil in the shower. This assures me I've removed all the product from my face. This works great with waterproof makeup, too! It really saves time. I sometimes skip the makeup wipes and use the cleansing oil. After the shower, I use Bioderma micellar water. This just putting the cherry on top in my makeup-removing routine. This makes sure I pick up everything, even around my neck and hairline area which I tend to forget. I also have L'oreal Micellar water that my mom got me when she was in London.  I use it interchangeably, and I find that it works the same as Bioderma. What I like about micellar water is that it totally feels like water. It has no scent and it feels refreshing on the skin.

What's your favorite makeup-removing products?

December Favorites 2014

Happy Saturday!

I hope you all are enjoying the new year so far! I've been spending mine with a lot of sleepin-in and laziness. The weather has dropped down, way down. The cold is currently a bit extreme for where I live making me not want to do anything. But I managed to get my self up and shoot a video.
Here's my favorites for the month of December. I hope I will be able to do this more often. =)

Tried anything new lately?

My Holiday Favorites/Beauty Gift Ideas

Hi everyone!
I'm excited to share my Holiday favorites with you. I am a beauty enthusiast, meaning that I love all things beauty! I really like everything in this post, and I think others like me would really appreciate finding them under the tree on Christmas morning, or just any other day really. I know it's pretty late in the season, but better late than never.

This fix include Marc Jacobs O!Mega Bronzer which I had been eyeing since it first came out. Look at the size of that beauty! It definitely is a mega bronzer. It comes in only one shade, though.  And who doesn't like a cheek palette? NARS Virtual Domination palette is just right up my alley. There are a highlighter which is not my favorite because it's too shimmery, but the blushes are gorgeous and the bronzer is the oh-so-popular Laguna bronzer that just has a little hint of gold shimmer.

My Most Used Blushes

Blush is one of those product that I can't seem to just simply pick a favorite. When I'm traveling, I bring at least 3 different ones in my makeup bag. Here are my current most "reached" blushes.

5 Favorite Bright Summer Lipsticks

Bright lipsticks are kinda my thing right now, especially with the hot summer days. Bright colors tend be very high maintenance since they are very noticeable if they ever leave a spot on teeth or run outside the lip line. I always use a lip balm as some sort of a lip primer before applying any kind of lipstick. Not only it provides a smoother canvas, it also enables the color to stay on vibrant longer. I'm sure there are so many products out there designed specifically for lip primer, but I've been using
Vaseline Lip Therapy as my lipstick base.

Here are five of my favorites bright lipsticks. I just realized a couple of them look very similar, but yet create different look.

What's in My Makeup Bag - My Essential Brushes

Greetings! I'm enjoying post tax season. I'm currently traveling for 5 days, and of course I bring  along some makeup with me. I'm used to doing makeup with brushes, so I don't want to go anywhere without my makeup brushes, especially the ones that I'm about to share with you. You will also find some care tips for makeup brushes while you're on the go.

I think the brushes I have here represent essential tools I need for doing my makeup. I tried to keep them compact and in one place so it's easy for me to reach for when I'm traveling. I did sacrifice some brushes I love and use often because they just don't fit in the relatively short makeup bag I carry my brushes in. I have quite few brushes, so I do have alternatives for my favorites, which work just as well.

Here are my top brushes - I love them so much that I bring them along with me on this trip!

Blogmas 9,2013 ❄ If I Had to Live With Only One...

Hi everyone! I tried out new look today with purple eyeshadows and didn't like it. Then I thought if I had to live with only look, I really could. So I came up with this beauty tag which should be fun and might require hard decisions to answer. Let's begin!

My Pick: I Am Legend

I've decided to incorporate my-recommendation-on-other-than-makeup-related posts on my blog at least once a month. I know it's not really beauty-related post, but that's why my blog's called Beauty and Beyond. This is the 'Beyond' part =)

For the longest time, I couldn't decide what kind of movies l like the most. I used to think I like all kind of movies. Thanks to my parents who love going to the movies and cheap tickets in my hometown, I used to watch newly released movies at the theater more than three times a week. I guess I wasn't that busy during that time of my life. Not too long ago, a revelation came me. I realized my favorite type of movies is not rom-com, which I had led myself to believe for quite a while. I used to watch oldie but goodie like Princess Diaries, She's All  That, Wish Upon A Star over and over again until I could remember every scene. I realized how much I enjoyed watching sci-fi. There's this thirst inside of me to always search for great sci-fi movies, just like I Am Legend.

Halloween is just around the corner, and I think I Am Legend is a perfect pick for that spooky night full of zombies. I've watched this probably 10 times already, and still I cannot get over myself how nail-biting, heart-breaking, and satisfying this movie is. This is by far my number one movie of all time, and I don't say that kind of thing lightly. I take my movie very seriously.

If you've never watched this before, let me break it down to you. If you don't like action/thriller/heart-pumping kinda movie, then this might not be for you. But if you're a thriller-seeker like I am, then this is perfect.

I don't want to give any spoiler, so please go watch it yourself and let me know how you like it!

I ❤ Summer Tag

Hi everyone!  I had a long nap today after so long. It was really nice. Earlier today, I attended a firm event. This was my company's 2nd annual golf scramble. I've never picked up a golf club ever in my life nor I've gone to a golf course before. I'd always thought golf is fancy smanchy sports. Some people might hate me for saying this, but I'd never thought golf as a sport. But today, I can see it as a sport for walking almost 2 miles carrying my golf club sets. I was told that I was a natural, but I don't know. I don't really like it. It's a lot of waiting time, and I prefer a more upbeat, heart-pumping sport.

Anyway, I wasn't sure what to do for a blog post. But then I remember of Ingrid's (missglamorazzi)
I ❤ Summer Tag  video. You can check out her video here. Let's get started!

1. Favorite bronzer for summer?
I am matte bronzer kinda gal. I don't really like shimmery bronzer. It just makes my face looks like a disco ball, especially during the day when the sun hits my face. It's just too much for a daytime look. Lately I've been using Rimmel Sunny matte bronzer, but to be honest, I don't love it. It does the job, but I prefer TooFaced Chocolate Soleil matte bronzer with its deeper tone and chocolate scent.

2. You're relaxing in a hammock, on a tropical island. What are you sipping on?
(Favorite summer drink)
Most likely coconut water. I love love love coconut water, especially during hot days like now. My favorite is from this Vietnamese dessert place called Bambu and it's dessert #1. It's so yummy!

3. Favorite summer lip product?
I prefer moisturizing tinted lip product rather than full on lipstick. Lately I've been using Revlon Kissable balm stain and Revlon lip butter. They're just so easy to apply and feel comfortable on the lips.

4. Pool or Beach?
I'm kinda in between with this one. I like hanging out at the beach, but I like swimming in the pool better. I gotta admit, I'm a little bit of scared to swim in the sea. It's just beyond my scope of swimming ability to stand against the waves. Haha. I like both, but if I have to choose, I'll choose beach regardless.
More natural, more freedom.

5. Summer = crazy hair! What's your must-have styling product?
I don't really have any issue with crazy hair. I naturally have fine straight hair, and they are mendable, in most times. But one thing that I now can't live without is dry shampoo. I just love spraying them on every other day when I have my "second hair day" to absorb the excess oil. I love Suave dry shampoo. The scent is really refreshing!

6. Sun bathing or fake tan?
I am definitely a tanning virgin. Haha. I don't sun bath and I don't fake tan. I haven't touched base on any tanning or whatnot. But I gotta say, I don't like sun bath to get the color. I don't like sun-bathing period. I guess, coming from Asia, especially from where I'm from, sun-bathing is not what we normally do. Instead, it's something we avoid. People in my hometown prefer porcelain looking skin. Different country different perception of beauty. Interesting, isn't it?

7. Favorite summer nail polish?
Wet n Wild "I have a Refresh-mint". Fun, bright pastel color. Looks good on anybody!

8. Any summer traditions?
I 'officially' started to have summer in 2009. Indonesia doesn't really have summer. It's tropical season all year round. So, every summer, I got 12 weeks of holiday and I went back to my hometown and just hang out. Now, after I started working, the only summer tradition that I can think of is camping. I have it every year now with my friends.

9. Favorite summer scent?
I love floral scent. The perfume that I've been using is Daisy eau so fresh by Marc Jacob. The scent doesn't get old!

10. Favorite BBQ food?
Might be a boring answer, but I love meat. As long as it's meat and it's bbq, i'll eat it!  lol

11. What's your favorite summer-proof product?
Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray. It keeps my makeup in place. At first I thought this product was kinda a joke. Why would you spray liquid to a perfectly made-up face? But I see it now. It just sets the makeup products on your face and locks them in place. It doesn't 100% prevent smudging, but it reduces oil and what not. It's extremely important especially during the hot summer weather.
I also have my handy dandy facial sunscreen from my dermatologist. Sunscreen is important! Prevent aging, sunspot as early as possible guys!

12. Any summer vacation plans this year? No plans? Tell us about your dream summer trip!
Nope, no vacation plan except for a weekend camping trip in late August. I'm saving my PTO for Christmas. So excited! I don't really have a dream vacation, but I did enjoy my trip to Avilla Beach. I think it's a perfect place for a summer getaway. The place is just so quiet and relaxing. I'd love to go there again soon.

❤❤❤

May Favorites

Hi everyone! May is finally over. I know I'm about two days too late, but it's better late than never for May Favorites!
This is my very first monthly favorites post, so hope you enjoy reading this!

In the makeup department, I don't really have a lot. I didn't buy any new makeup products to try. This month I had given my skin a breather from all the beauty products. I really think it's nice to take a break and let your skin be once in a while.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation - 202 Nude
Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer - 002
These products are old favorites of mine. I like these, but I just sort of forgot about them until a friend asked me to do her makeup for a photoshoot. I swatched all my foundation and found this one to be a match for her skin tone. The foundation itself already has a great lasting power, but on top of the primer, the makeup doesn't budge! She told me how impressed she was how the makeup managed to stay all day and night.

I never really go for a a primer on day-to-day basis, but when I do, I totally believe this Rimmel Fix & Perfect is a great one to use. You don't have to pay a lot of money for a good primer. This gives you smooth and clear canvas of your skin. Really great product!

Wet n Wild Color Icon Bronzer - Reserve your cabana
Don't be fooled by the name. It says bronzer, but it definitely is not. This shade of 'bronzer' from Wet n Wild actually acts more as a highlight than a bronzer. For a really affordable price, you get a humongous amount of product and pretty highlight without the look of a disco ball. It has a light reflective finish without crazy shimmer.

Wet n Wild Trio - Walking on Eggshells
I have been using this trio for my go-to look for quite a while now. I really love how the pinkish champagne color has the satin finish with a bit of shimmer which makes your eyes look really pretty everytime they catch the light. I use the bronze color to contour the crease.
Wet n Wild shadows are known for their high pigmentation and creamy texture. This is really a great quality product with affordable price. Nothing can beat that!

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner - Trooper
This is literally the only eyeliner I have been using for the last couple of months. The staying power is awesome and it doesn't smudge on me. I've posted my review on this baby before if you want to learn more.

Anna Sui Lip Rogue V -361
You might recognize this from my last post. Awesome lipstick and shade. Thanks mom!

Shu Uemura - Karl for Shu eyelash curler
Shu Uemura's eyelash curler is really popular. I didn't think it was worth it to spend a little more just on an eyelash curler until I use this. It really gives my lashes nice upward curl. It's really awesome.

I knew this product from watching MakeupbyTiffanyD's skin care routine video. This product is really great in moisturizing my skin without feeling heavy. The consistency is so light that'd make you wonder if it does anything. Trust me it does. I use it mainly on my face, and it hasn't had any dry patches ever since regardless of frequent drastic weather change.

Two of my favorite scents from Bath and Body Works. Cherry blossom is old favorite of mine. First Bloom is from the new line they launched this Spring, Fresh Picked. It smells amazing. I almost want to get everything in the scent. But I didn't. Only the hand cream and the hand sanitizer. And the shower gel. =p

Daisy Eau so Fresh by Marc Jacobs
Last but not least, I really love love this perfume. The scent is really unique and nothing like any perfume out there. You can totally recognize this perfume. The floral scent is perfect for a fresh and sweet Summer days.

Favorite TV Shows for this month are Grey's Anatomy. I watched Grey's Anatomy in the past up to season 4, and just started watching it again, and I'm totally addicted. I still remember the time I was inspired to become a doctor, but I guess blood and corpses are still too much for me.

Shoutout for Orphan Black. A new TV show on BBC America that premiered last March. It's sci-fi series about several identical women who turns out to be clones! If you like dark/sci-fi/mystery type of drama, then you might enjoy this as much as I do. The main star, Tatiana Maslany is brilliant! She can portray different characters and all have their own unique identity. Bravo.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

Beauty Review: Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation

Hi everyone! Working full-time has really taken its toll on me. I'm still adjusting and adapting with the situation and all that, but here I am, managed to finally write a new post.

This foundation has been in my wish list for quite a while, and I finally got one after reassurance from a friend that this is great stuff. I've watched many videos to see how the foundation is in action. The high price tag of $43 really hindered me at first, but then Sephora offered its VIBs $20 off last December.

I have to say that the silk creme foundation really sounds so, hmm, promising and indulging. It made me imagine this dewy, glowy and beautiful looking finish for the result product. After using it for several weeks, it is time for me to share my take on how this product lives up to its hype.

Shade
It comes in 10 different shades. The lightest is called soft ivory and the darkest is Hazelnut beige. My shade is sand beige, although I then realized that it is a bit yellow for my liking, but nothing that can't be worked with.

Application
Since it comes in a tube, you have have to squeeze it out, but don't squeeze too hard otherwise you will waste valuable product. It doesn't take much to cover your whole face.
The formulation is really thick but easy to blend. I always use my F84 brush by Sigma to apply it.

How it feels
It really smoothes onto the skin really easily. Because of its thick consistency, I do have a definite feeling of wearing foundation, but it doesn't really look heavy or anything.

Finish
It really provides glow and satin finish. It perfects your skin overall. I use this throughout my road trip last month and whenever I saw my pictures using it, I know it is a great product.

Coverage
I'd say it has a medium to full coverage. The coverage is for sure buildable. The more you apply the more coverage you get. But again, it naturally is thick in formula so it doesn't take much to cover up redness or imperfection.

Price
The retail price is $43. I know, it is a lot even for a foundation. Sephora and other retail stores have occasional coupons so look out for those. The best way is to subscribe to their mailing list so you will not miss it.

Conclusion
For $43, I didn't know if I would have ever purchased it in the first place without some kind of reassurance. Foundation is really tricky. For quite a high price, make sure you know what you're gonna invest in. Go to Sephora or your department store and ask for a sample or demonstration on the product application. See it for yourself. As for me, I love this foundation. I love the smoothness and glow it gives to my skin. However, it tends to fade a little throughout the day especially on oily skin so make sure to layer on a primer before you apply the foundation for a long-wearing product.

What great foundation have you tried lately? Share in the comment below =)

Beauty Rave: Kat Von D Tattoo

Several months ago, I purchased Sephora Favorites Draw the Line - eyeliner sampler with my 20% VIB discount. I had been looking for a perfect eyeliner - smudge proof, long-lasting power, straight black and ease of control - for a while, and now I can safely say that I have found my ideal liner.

I started using eyeliner when I was in high school. I remember my very first eyeliner was this automatic pencil liner from Face Shop. It smudged like crazy after several hours and left me with panda eyes, but since I didn't know any better, I sticked with it for several years. Then I turned to Etude, still a Korean beauty brand, automatic pencil liner. It was more smudge-proof even though it didn't stay very long on oily eyelids ( I didn't know that eye primer existed!).

I had always thought that I was more of a pencil-liner kinda girl because I didn't seem to get the hang of liquid eyeliner. It was messy and hard to control , at least for the ones I have tried. Years later, eyeliners keep getting better, and I am so happy that I have found pen liner. It's not pencil nor liquid. It's more like a pen liner. It runs on ink. It's like pencil and liquid in one!

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper

This particular Kat Von D tattoo liner is very special for me. It is smudge-proof. I have worn this from rainy days for hours, and it doesn't smudge on me. Of course, using an eye primer as the base doesn't hurt either. The very fine-tip point allows you to trace a thin line across your eyes and creates beautiful perfect cat eyes effect.

It dries within reasonable length of time, which means that it doesn't dry too fast so it is easy to erase with a q-tip when you make a mistake, but it also doesn't try too slow that it gets messy when you blink. I don't know if that makes any sense to any of you, but it works on me. All I have here is only the sample size, and I am buying the full size for sure.

What's the best eyeliner you've tried?

I ❤ Drugstore Makeup Tag!

Hi everyone!
I ❤ Drugstore Makeup Tag videos are around in the Youtube world.
I don't do videos, not yet at least, but I think blogging about it would be as fun.
So let's start!

Revlon Lip Buttes
1. What is your favorite drugstore makeup brand?
I love NYX for its rich variety of products and colors. I love Revlon for its great quality of products. I also love Rimmel. It's hard to pick just one. Arrghh..I guess I have to go with Revlon.

2. What are your favorite face, cheek and lip products?
Face: Revlon Whipped Foundation stole my heart. Its thick consistency and great coverage would never go wrong on me.
Cheek: I love CoverGirl Cheekers and Rimmel Lasting Finish Blush. I also love Rimmel Bronzer in Sun Light.
Lips: Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait and Rimmel Moisture Renew in Nude Delight

3. Least favorite product?
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. It makes my face greasy just few hours after I apply it on my face.

Wet 'N Wild Eyeshadows
4. What is the best makeup bargain?
Wet 'N Wild eyeshadows palletes. They are really pigmented, and they last a really long time!

5. What is your favorite underdog product? (Something you love that often gets overlooked?)
I have a couple of products under this category. First, CoverGirl Cheekers. I know it was once people's favorite, but I don't really hear them anymore nowadays on Youtubeland. I love the color selections as well as the color payoff. They're good stuff. I also love NYX stay matte but not flat powder foundation. I don't hear about this product much. I like the coverage it gives. You can wear it on top of your liquid foundation to set the makeup but don't use it as you would alone because it can make your face look powdery.

Revlon ColorStay
Whipped Foundation

6. A drugstore product that is overpriced?
I really think some of the foundations are overpriced. I wouldn't have bought Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation which is $14 at Ulta if it weren't for Beauty Broadcast's recommendation. As much as I love this foundation, the price is still quite high for me.

7. Show your best drugstore dupe(s)!
Please don't hate me for this, but I don't really have any drugstore dupes that I own. system is to purchase the dupe directly based on the swatches I saw on youtube and blogs. Call me cheap, but I call it saving. Haha. =P

8. Drugstore product that isn't worth the hype?
BB Cream, for sure. It's just ridiculous for me personally how companies advertise their BB Cream products as "Asian sensation". They just don't last as well as foundation. The coverage is pretty much like tinted moisturizer. The idea of BB cream as a middle ground between a tinted moisturizer and a foundation is really just marketing gimmick. It is also sometimes more expensive than a foundation.

Thank you for reading. Don't forget to subscribe!
Have a fabulous week =)

October Favorites (2012)

Hi everyone! I can't believe October has passed already. It's time my October favorites, basically all my favorites during the month of October.

Urban Decay Naked Foundation
I've written a whole blog post on this product. It's weightless. It's amazing. The finish is not just straight matte. It gives you a velvety dewy finish which I love.

Revlon ColorStay Whipped Foundation
The formulation is so thick that I don't really need concealer when I use it. The coverage is just flawless. It's perfect especially when you have to be in front of HD cameras.
It's easy to blend, too.

Sigma E25 Brush
I love this brush which is supposed to be very similar with MAC 217. The MAC 217 brush is so popular yet so expensive. I was so happy that I Sigma has one. The bristle is tapered which is perfect to apply shadows all over the lids and crease, yet it's fluffy enough to perform some blending. Two of my friends agree, and they bought it after using mine.

theBalm 'Nude Tude Palette
I love how this nude palette doesn't just offer one variety brown color like the Urban Decay Naked palette does. It has matte colors as well as shimmery colors. It also provides a nice range of colors from shimmery peach to matte plum. I can create so many different looks using this palette. The shadows are pigmented and they don't flake off which is a major thing for me.

Revlon Lip Butter - Peach Parfait
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick - Nude Delight

I've been using these two color interchangeably. I love how versatile Peach Parfait is. It's just the perfect pinkish color. Rimmel Nude Delight is not just a basic nude. It has a hint of coral in there that makes it really pretty. They are great for cooler weather like now because they don't only give your lips colors but also moisture.

Bath & Body Works - Country Chic

I must admit it was love at first sight when I saw the packaging. Sky blue with colorful flowers. The scents are really refreshing. I think it was originally for the spring collection, but I still use them.

OPI Dulce de Leche

First saw this color on instagram, and I immediately fell in love. Everytime I use this color on my nails, I feel like a lady. Haha, i don't know why.

Oishi

I have been addicted with thing for the whole month.
It's a must try! Try finding it at your asian grocery store.

Thank you for reading!

Nail Polish Favorites

I wan't big on nail polish because I used to be a nail-biter, so I never put anything on my nails. I tried to quit, but when it came to exam season I just couldn't help it. It was my way of releasing stress. But not anymore. Who knew the way for me to stop biting my nails was actually to put pretty colors on them?

So here are some of my favorite shades.

OPI is by far the best nail polish I have ever used. Its consistency is just perfect. The application is smooth and easy.
Love this color so much. It's a rosy nude color, which is perfect for Fall.
1. OPI - Dulce de Leche

Essie comes second on my favorite list. The consistency is slightly thinner than OPI, but you can easily build it up according to your liking. The color selection is huge, and they are adorable!
2. essie - bikini so teeny
Love this color. It's a perfect sky baby blue for me. Look my cloudsky nails here

3. essie - imported bubbly

4. essie - muchi, muchi

This particular line from Revlon, Colorstay mimics OPI's consistency. I love how glossy the finish is. I also like the wider brush applicator which makes it easier to cover all you nails on a single coating.
5. Revlon colorstay - Bare Bones
I had many compliments when I posted this shade on my toes a while a go (see it here). I like how the brush is so wide, even wider than the Revlon Colorstay, to make the application so much easier and faster.
6. Wet n Wild - I need a refresh-mint

If you like chunky sparkly gliiter, than this Sally Hansen Gem Crush is perfect for you.
(Look what I did using this glitter here)

7. Sally Hansen Gem Crush - Big Money

I wouldn't recommend to apply this alone on your nails unless you like the sheer glitter effect. The consistency is rather thin, but the color is just so pretty as a top coat just like I did with my nails of the day: sparkly sky blue.
8. Hello Kitty - Gold Sparkle

These two particular products just do not make the cut to be my favorites. They're pretty bad. The Love & Beauty nail polish which you can get from Forever 21 is pretty inexpensive for $2.80, but for the same price I expect it to be a better quality. The finish is just dry. The nail polish is just drying your nails.
As for the Maybelline Color Show, I love this metallic blue shade. It looks gorgeous and such a head turner. But it chips within only one day! I didn't bother to try on another shade. Plus, this particular shade is all messy when you try to take it off from your nails.
