Kota Tua, Jakarta, Indonesia

Hi everyone! Happy 2014!
Long time no post. I was enjoying my days back home and just completely ignored my blog. I admit that's my weakness when it comes to blogging - consistency. I was so proud to be able to blog (almost) everyday in December till Christmas, but then... oh well.

Being back home, I didn't wear that much makeup let alone trying new products. I explored Jakarta a little bit. One of the places that really struck me was Kota Tua ~ old town. The buildings were old, hence the name. haha. They were from Dutch colonial period. Indonesia was under Dutch colonialism for about 3.5 centuries.

At Cafe Batavia
My dad and me - see the resemblance?

Nasi Goreng - Fried Rice with fried chicken, satay, fried shrimps and cracker.

My view outside the window.

This is not actually on the Kota Tua site, but it was walking distant. I wanted to take a picture in front of this old train station because I remember seeing the very picture in my childhood story book my parents got me.

Since it was a crowded place full of people, you never know what's gonna happen so if you're planning to ever come, be very careful with your belongings.

Thanks for dropping by!
