When in St. Louis | Brunch, Missouri Botanical Garden, Old Town, Peruvian Dinner

Hello!
I'm grateful I got visit family and attend a wedding last weekend. We took advantage the opportunity to do a little travel the next day. Here's my Sunday in pictures.

We're ready to explore the city!

First stop, brunch at Rooster

I ordered Breakfast #6 - scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, mushroom, emmenthaler and some arugula. The overall taste was a bit pepper-spicy for me.

I visited the Missouri Botanical Garden. The weather was crazy sunny and bright and hot!
Loving this playsuit - more about it here

Inside a dome-shaped glass house for climate control. The weather was like Jakarta in a glass - with much less pollution of course.

I found people in St. Louis were very nice. They offered to take pictures of us together. Even the staff in the airport was particularly nicer than in California. Maybe it was the vacay mood thing, I don't know.

Boxwood Garden - learn more here

In front of the Tower Grove House. We went inside to cool ourselves down.

From the botanical garden, we visited the old town in St. Charles - not too far from the garden. Here we took a picture in front of an old train station. It's no longer in use, but still conserved for touristy area.

Dinner at Mango, a peruvian restaurant

Lomo saltado - beef tenderloin stir-fried with sweet onions, tomatoes and garlic.
So yummy!

Let's get connected!
