Monday Roundup | Berries and Pink, Scallop Shorts and Nude Heels

Wet n Wild color icon blush 'Pearlescent Pearl'

I'm rediscovering the foundation. It's my only foundation from Nars. When I first got it, the shade was too yellow for me and that was why it spent the first few months just sitting in my drawer. I gave it another try again, and I can't stop looking myself in the mirror. My skin looks so flawless, and it stays all day, too. I have a combo/dry skin, which is why I think it stays all day on my skin. I don't know if it would work the same for oily skin people. It makes my skin glowy and flawless. It can get to heavy if you use too much. You don't need  a lot to get a medium-to-full coverage.
I featured the Wet n Wild blush in this shade comparing with Nars Orgasm on my instagram. It's a pretty shimmery blush. Nars Orgasm has golden-y shimmer, whereas this one does not.

Clinique cheek pop 'Peach Pop', YSL Rouge Volupte Shine No. 8 & 43,

For the longest time, I keep telling myself and/or other people that my favorite color is blue - sky blue, baby blue, light blue. I was so convinced that pink was just too girly of a color for me. I didn't like wearing pink top. However, for the last couple of years, I realized now that I am more drawn into the pink/peach/blush/nude colors than any blue hues. It just excites me more. I guess people do change, especially in taste and preference. I also love the YSL lipsticks. I post all about them not too long ago. The only thing that I'm a little bit bothered by is the scent.

Rimmel Show Off 'Apocaliptic' , Maybelline creamy matte 'Touch of Spice'
Revlon Lip Butter 'Berry Smoothie' , Fresh Sugar 'Berry',
Revlon Super Lustrous 'Black Cherry'

I think wearing berry lipsticks for Spring is more than okay. There are just something about berry colors, bright or dark, that draw me in. I also have been using this book '500 Writing Prompts' to get my creative ideas flowing again. It has a lot of interesting questions/ideas to write about, and I can just be as creative and imaginative as I want to be. The most important thing is just to keep on writing. I usually just open a random page and point my finger on a prompt without looking. I have to respond to the prompts no matter what. It's a pretty fun activity to do before bed.

Loft relaxed skinny sz 2P ( extra 40% off), Loft Bucket bagv(extra 40% off)

Favorite 'girlfriend' jeans. It's a bit high-waisted on me and a little bit loose but still slim fit, which makes it super comfortable. The bag is a unique shape. I love it because it can stand on its own. In other words, it's sturdy and not flimsy. I can just throw in anything in there and find things easily in a glance. One downside is that it doesn't have any zipper compartment. It literally resembles a bucket.

I love these heels more than I thought I would. It has 3" heels, which is very comfortable height for me. It is surprisingly comfortable. I received compliments when I wore these shoes to work. The studs details give a little bit of an edge to an otherwise very feminine shoes. I love pairing these with dresses or jeans.

I rarely post a (almost) full-body selfie since the background of my full-size mirror is not really instagram-able. I was in the bathroom of Neiman Marcus. The bathroom was really pretty, so a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do - taking selfie! I have to say I really am loving these shirts. The material is light and airy, so it's perfect for warmer weather. The cut is slimming, and the color is pretty. I highly recommend this shirt!

Loft flounce dress, Loft Utility blouse,
Ann Taylor tee, Loft Eyelet scallop skirt

Coral for days! I just love how bright happy the color is, I really think this is my Spring colors of the year.

That's all for my roundup Monday! I really hope you enjoy this. I'll try putting this up every Monday.
'Till then, do share your finds with me!
