Facial Pampering: Kiehl's. Caudalie, Josie Maran & More!

I get a lot of sample from my shopping haul here and there. The sample sizes pile up without me having enough time to catch up and try them on. I feel like today is a good day to try some of them and pamper myself at the same time.

I don't spend as much time as I wish I did in taking care of my skin. I'm in the hunt of skin care products tailored for my skin, so this is a good opportunity to start. Not everything here is a sample. I bought the Garnier Lightening peel-off mask a while back from from Jakarta. I thought this would be a good pick-me-up product. In reality, I don't really use it as regularly as I would like because I'm just bad like that. It does feel like it takes off the gunk out of my skin when I peel it off of my skin.

I got the Caudalie Beauty Elixir with a value set from Sephora several weeks ago. There was a lot of hype over this product, and I hadn't got into it till now. I can't really tell if it does anything to my skin instantly, but I can definitely fee my skin tingling which might be good for when I'm getting ready in the morning because it can wake me up. It's said to spray on face before applying moisturizer to help hydrate the skin and prevent it from feeling tight.

I then moved on to the Josie Maran argan oil light. This is the lighter version, obviously, so it doesn't feel as oily and more lightweight almost like water. I feel like it works just as well as my argan oil from Poppy, helps moisturizer absorb better into the skin. Kiehl's Ultra Facial cream  is a well-loved product of a lot of people. I've checked online, and it is out of stock for quite some time. I tried it on for the first time today, and it feels really good on the skin. I can't tell if it really works for me as I need to wait and actually buy the full size to actually do an in-depth review, but from what I can tell it does an instant great job for my dry patches on ma' face.

Later at night, I put on this Heart face mask with 5 berries complex from Etude house. It's a korean brand. My mom used to buy my skincare from them. If you watch any korean drama, you know why. Those actresses have the prettiest skin - or the prettiest makeup. Anyway, all feels good. Ahhh....
Now let me just rest my eyes and enjoy the night of pampering.....
